28 years ago I had a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed from the shoulders down. Through grit and hard work and with the help of an amazing support system, I graduated high school, college and law school. Today I live with my wife Sheila and my daughter Sydney. Sheila and I have been married for 16 years and Sydney is 9 years old. We have 2 cats, Pesto and Zamboni and a Corgi named Yuki. It's a busy house that is filled with a lot of fun and love. I live my life to the fullest, despite my disability and limitations. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring Arizona, live music & concerts, and traveling (especially to escape the heat).

I'm a high-level quadriplegic (paralyzed from the neck down) looking to hire a full-time CNA/HHA/Caregiver for 12 hour shifts, 7 AM-7 PM shifts on weekdays and 7 AM-4 PM shifts on weekends. The daily routine is easy to learn and mostly the same each day. I need help dressing, showering, stretching, and getting ready for the day, and then assistance living my life. The best way to describe this position is that you will help me do everything that anyone does in a normal day--you are my arms and legs. This includes everything from getting up, driving, cooking, getting dressed, going to the store, laundry, range of motion, and more. For the right person this can all be taught pretty quickly and you will get the hang of it.
Training is included & experience is not necessary. You will be trained by my current caregivers and I also know all my own care. Most people who care for me do not have previous experience.
I need someone that is responsible, dependable, flexible, has a good personality, and a sense of humor.
